Yale vs. Harvard Hype Night @ Old Campus Get ready for the game with an evening full of fun on Old Campus! Enjoy live music from Connecticut’s own DJ Prestige, delicious bites from Crispy Melty, Cinnabomb Mini-Donut Factory, and Fryborg, plus a variety of board games and crafty activities like friendship bracelet making and Yale-Harvard tote bag decorating. We hope to see you there, boola boola! Go Bulldogs! |
The Residential College Dining Halls will be open for dinner, 5pm - 7pm. This is part of the meal plan for Yale students. Harvard students can use a Yale guest swipe of someone with a meal plan or pay the guest rate for dinner.
Pizza and/or snacks will be offered by most colleges between dinner and 10pm. Check with your host college for specifics.
Food/snacks will be provided at key Yale/Harvard activities.

Breakfast will be available at all 14 dining halls. Breakfast is available to all Yale and Harvard undergrads. Yale meal plan holders will swipe into the dining hall. Yale non-meal plan holders will show their ID to the desk attendant. Harvard students must present their Harvard ID.
A variety of food options are available for purchase from vendors at the Yale Bowl.
In the dining halls, ingredients are listed for each recipe, and the top 9 major allergens are clearly identified with an icon. Packed lunches, available at YSG and the Armory, will be labeled to include ingredients and major allergens. Visit Yale Hospitality’s Dietary Requirements page for additional information.

All 14 Yale Residential Colleges will accommodate Harvard students – Yale Colleges have partnered with Harvard Houses to offer overnight housing on Friday night. Harvard students will be accommodated in designated and common spaces within each Residential College, or by making prior arrangements with friends.
For Residential College access, Harvard students must present their Harvard IDs to the Yale member at the designated gate to gain entry to their sister college for Friday night arrangements.
Harvard students must take their belongings with them on Saturday morning. Items left in the residential colleges stand to be discarded.

The Athletics Department provides round-trip transportation for all fans from Payne Whitney Gym (PWG) and Phelps Gate (College Street | Chapel Street) to the Yale Bowl.
Ride Share Drop off/Pick up – at the Walter Camp Memorial turnaround (Derby Ave.) If you use a ride share option, keep in mind that traffic is extremely heavy on game day, and surge pricing will apply.

Take care of yourselves and others. Make a plan for your day, including dressing for the weather and getting enough to eat. Take care of your friends by staying together and reconnecting if you get separated.
If you see any concerning situations, even if they seem small, take action. You can check in with your friends, offer to help those around you, and ask for help from hosts or professionals.
If you are concerned that a peer may be experiencing an alcohol- or drug-related emergency, seek help. Stay with them and call Yale Dispatch for help (203-432-4400). If you do not have cell service, uniformed security or emergency medical personnel can help you.

The Game is a reunion of friends, but ultimately is a sporting event. We expect that all fans will respect the hard work of the student-athletes and will refrain from any disruptions that could detract from the event.
Unauthorized spectators are not allowed onto the field before or during the event. Any spectators who attempt access to the field will be immediately escorted out of the Bowl by police, may be subject to disciplinary action and/or arrest, and will not be allowed to return to the Bowl.
Large banners, signs, and flags will not be allowed into the game. Additionally, banners, signs, and flags may not block the view of other spectators and may not be draped over the walls of the stadium. Security and event staff at the entry points to the Bowl and within the Bowl will engage with spectators who have large visible banners, signs, or flags will remind them of the rule and will confiscate the signs if necessary (to be returned after the game if possible). Messages at the Bowl and at the entry points will remind fans that these items and actions are prohibited.
